Vision Force Uganda (VFU) is a centre for learning purposes. It teaches vision, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills to the youth, which gives them the confidence to create their own jobs other than putting their eyes on job seeking.

VFU operates under one principle — With Vision, We Shall Succeed!

The organization started with few youths with the aim of breaking the weak cultural tendency that most youths have in developing countries. Most youths have a tendency of opting to follow the dreams, goals, needs and desires of their parents, religious leaders, teachers and the societal norms voluntarily or involuntarily.Such beliefs have created a situation whereby the youth are unable to follow and achieve their visions.

In July 2006, the above observation caught the attention of some individuals who came up with a vision of creating a group that would train, mentor, inspire and empower the youth so that they may be able to look beyond those oppressive beliefs and create immediate and ongoing change in their lives and society as well.

The founding members were:
Ategeka N. Clovis, Semakula Saidi, Odota Denis, Muhumuza Denis, Odong Robert, Arinaitwe Ezra, Agaba Francis, Ntenge Moses, Akello Susan, Owiny Arthur, Sengoba Fred, Mark Male, Muwonge Adrian, Omara Emmanuel, and Sabiiti Adolf.

Most of the above members were in their final year at Makerere University and because of different responsibilities, some could not handle the heat and eventually withdrew from the group and decided to carry on with their careers in different parts of the country. At the end of the day, the others valued what this group was addressing and decided to stick on the team.

The existing and active members of this group are: Ategeka N. Clovis, Semakula Saidi, Odota Denis, Muhumuza Denis, Ntenga Moses and Agaba Francis.

Clovis made another step and joined the online community. Through the internet, he was able to meet Michael Skye, the founder of Vision Force Academy which is based in Austin, Texas. Vision Force Academy is driven by the Vision that we are all Visionaries by name, and it is natural for everyone to live the lives they desire and be able to create the world of their choice.

When Clovis shared his vision with Michael Skye, Michael was so impressed that he immediately started supporting him. He eventually sent him some of his audio work for free. This work brought a very powerful transformation and greater light to Clovis’ Vision. Clovis blogged online about how Michael’s work was changing his life, and also integrated this to address the challenges his fellow youths were experiencing.
